Medical POA

A Medical Power of Attorney is a legal document appointing someone you trust (and who knows your wishes) to review medical and insurance information, consider healthcare options, make medical decisions on your behalf and sign consent forms when you are incapacitated. Privacy laws, such as the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”), make proper drafting essential, or your designated Healthcare Representative may need a Court Order to obtain vital information.
